Authorizing the Purchasing Agent to Purchase One 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe 1LS 4WD ( 9C1) Vehicle Under State Contract

WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12 provides that any contracting unit may, without advertising for bids, purchase any materials, supplies or equipment under any contract entered into on behalf of the State by the Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of Treasury; and
WHEREAS, the Township of South Brunswick, needs to purchase 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe 1LS 4WD ( 9C1) Vehicle under the appropriate State contract for such an item; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Officer has recommended that One 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe 1LS 4WD
( 9C1) Vehicle be purchased under the following State contract and the Fleet Manager has approved said recommendation; and

WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in account # 01-201-26-315-760 in order to award the contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Law is satisfied that said certification is in proper form.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED on this 7th day of October 2026 by the Township Council of the Township of South Brunswick, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that:
1. The Purchasing Officer is authorized to purchase One 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe 1LS 4WD ( 9C1) Vehicle under the appropriate State contract.
2. This expenditure, is not to exceed $ 65,663.29 shall be charged to account # 01-201-26-315-760 in order to award this contract in an amount not to exceed $65,663.29.
3. The Township Manager or his designee and Township Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute the necessary contract documents.
