Authorizing a Closed Session at October 7, 2026 Council Meeting

WHEREAS, there exists a need to hold a closed session for the purpose of discussing matters which fall within the exception of the Open Public Meeting Law, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6, et seq., to wit:
a. Personnel Matters:
b. Contractual Negotiations:
c. Pending/Potential Litigation:
1. Tow License
d. Real Estate
e. Public Safety
and;
WHEREAS, it is unknown at this time when such discussions which take place at said closed session may be disclosed to the public;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED on the 7th day of October, 2026 by the Township Council of the Township of South Brunswick, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that:
1. The October 7, 2026 meeting of the Township Council of the Township of South Brunswick be closed to the public for discussion of the matters aforesaid.
2. The matters discussed at said closed session be disclosed to the public when the reasons for discussing and acting on same in closed session no longer exist.
